Section 2 - Purpose
The Procedures Bylaw establishes the rules for all Board and Committee Meetings and is subject to any applicable City bylaw.
Section 3 - Principles of the Procedures Bylaw
A. The following Members’ rights are the principles upon which the Procedures Bylaw is based:

The majority of Members have the right to decide;

The minority of Members have the right to be heard;

All Members have the right to information to help make decisions, unless otherwise prevented by law;
-
Members have the right to an efficient meeting;
-
All Members have the right to be treated with respect and courtesy; and
-
All Members have equal rights, privileges and obligations.
B. The Procedures Bylaw is interpreted in accordance with the principles set out in Section 3(A).
