Being a “Transit System that Makes Toronto Proud” remains a mission that defines the TTC at its best. The TTC is committed to providing excellent customer service by ensuring that individual customer needs are heard and met in Canada’s largest and arguably, most diverse city. The TTC serves a unique community through the delivery of programs and services that are safe, supportive and equitable, regardless of age, background, colour, religion, ability, orientation or gender identity. Yet we still have a way to go to be the transit agency our diverse and growing city needs.

We continue to be challenged by hate incidents, including racism, discrimination and intolerance. To address these challenges, the TTC is working to reinforce our values, create effective policies and build workforce skills.
