As part of the TTC’s continuing modernization efforts the turnstiles at the main entrance and high gates at the automatic entrance to Don Mills Station will be replaced with new paddle-style fare gates.

Construction at the main entrance is scheduled to start on Oct. 2.

  • The construction will be done in two phases. Customers will enter the station through the collector booth aisle or through a temporary station collector entrance in phase one.
  • The collector booth will be closed during phase two. During this time customers will not be able to purchase tickets, tokens or TTC passes from this station.
  • A PRESTO card reader will be available for PRESTO card customers during both phases of construction.

Construction at the automatic entrance is scheduled to start on Oct. 3.

  • This entrance will be closed from 11 p.m. Oct. 3 until 6 am. Oct. 6
  • When it re-opens on Oct. 6 a temporary station collector will be available at this entrance.
  • When construction is complete, at the end of November, customers will only be able to access this entrance by TTC Pass or PRESTO card only.
  • Customers paying by tickets, tokens or cash must use the main entrance.
