Using PRESTO on the TTC
- PRESTO card readers are located at the front of the turnstiles or on top of the new fare gates at select subway stations. They are also located at all streetcar doors, all bus doors (customers must board the bus at the front door, unless the bus is operating as a shuttle or on a streetcar route) and on all Wheel-Trans buses, including accessible taxis. (Sedan taxis will get PRESTO later in 2017).
- Tap your card on the PRESTO card reader to pay your fare. When you tap your fare is deducted from your card and a transfer is applied to your card as your Proof-of-Payment (POP).
