January 6, 2012 - The Toronto Transit Commission, today, begins an eight-week customer information campaign to appear in all buses, streetcars and subways, including subway stations. Called “Moving toward a better tomorrow,” the campaign includes five distinct posters designed to inform TTC customers about the importance of better transit funding, investments that are being made in transit, the positive economic and environmental impact of a healthy transit system, how the TTC is improving customer service, and the value the TTC has on one’s personal budget. - Man gets night-time TTC ban and 21 days in jail for assault
January 5, 2012 -A 19-year-old man was sentenced to 21 days in jail, and banned from the TTC between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m., for assaulting a TTC uniformed supervisor.
