  • November 30, 2019 last day to buy TTC tickets, tokens and passes in stations
    November 29, 2019
    The TTC will stop selling tickets, tokens and TTC day passes at collector booths on Nov., 30, 2019.
  • Portions of TTC Lines 1 and 2 to close this weekend
    November 27, 2019 - This weekend, Sat., Nov. 30 and Sun., Dec. 1, the portion of Line 1 between Lawrence and St Clair stations will be closed to allow Metrolinx crews to continue work on the Eglinton Crosstown LRT.
  • Portion of TTC Line 2 to close early next Tuesday - Thursday
    November 22, 2019 - The portion of Line 2 between Kipling and Islington stations will close at 11 p.m. next Tues., Nov. 26 through Thurs., Nov. 28 for important track work.
  • TTC’s legacy CLRV streetcars reach the end of the line on Dec. 29
    November 21, 2019 - After four decades of service to Toronto commuters, the TTC’s Canadian Light Rail Vehicle (CLRV) streetcars will make their last run on Sun., Dec. 29 - 42 years to the day the first vehicle arrived on TTC property.
  • Portion of TTC Line 1 to close this weekend
    November 20, 2019 - This weekend, Sat., Nov. 23 and Sun., Nov. 24, the portion of Line 1 between York Mills and St Clair stations will be closed for track work.
  • Portion of TTC Line 1 to close next Monday to Wednesday
    November 15, 2019 - The portion of Line 1 between Sheppard West and St Clair West stations will close at 11 p.m. next Mon., Nov. 18 through Wed., Nov. 20 for track maintenance.

    November 13, 2019 - This Sat., Nov. 16 only, the portion of Line 1 between St Clair West and King stations will be closed to enable crews to continue installation of the Automatic Train Control (ATC) signalling system.

    November 13, 2019 - The TTC and Manulife today settled a 2016 lawsuit launched by the transit agency related to benefits fraud.
  • TTC to honour Canadian veterans on Monday
    November 8, 2019 - The TTC will honour Canada's fallen on Remembrance Day, Mon., Nov. 11, by bringing all of its vehicles to a standstill for two minutes at 11 a.m.

    November 8, 2019 - The portion of Line 1 between Wilson and St Clair West stations will close at 11 p.m. next Mon., Nov. 11 through Thurs., Nov. 14 for track maintenance.

    November 6, 2019 - This weekend, Nov. 9-10, the TTC is closing two different portions of Line 1 - one each day - to enable crews to continue installation of the Automatic Train Control (ATC) signalling system.

    November 6, 2019 - The TTC Board will hold its next meeting on Tues., Nov. 12 at City Hall. The public session will begin at 1 p.m.
