Starting today, TTC customers can have their say on service options for the new RapidTO bus-only corridors along Eglinton Ave. E. and Jane St.

Working with partner divisions at the City, the TTC identified Eglinton East and Jane Street as the first two corridors for implementation of priority bus lanes under the RapidTO program.

The TTC has developed potential service concepts for bus routes operating on these corridors and wants to hear from those who use the routes on a regular basis.

"RapidTO will help us move people quicker and more efficiently across this city by improving reliability, speed and capacity on some of our busiest bus routes. I'm proud we are moving ahead with these dedicated priority bus-only lanes," said Mayor John Tory. "This will ensure that more residents have access to reliable, rapid transit so they have greater access to jobs, healthcare and community services. I encourage riders to provide feedback and recommendations for the our new RapidTO program so that we can make sure it meet the needs of all those who rely on these routes."

"I strongly encourage all TTC customers along these corridors to participate in this survey in order to help us best plan service that addresses their needs," said TTC CEO Rick Leary. "We truly value and appreciate the input of our customers and want to be sure their voices are heard. I want to thank everyone in advance for participating."

The surveys will be live until Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020.
