Construction season: TTC, City work closely to limit impacts

Spring has sprung and construction season is about to get under way across the city. With that comes the start of an annual challenge for our surface route network of buses and streetcars.

April 7, 2017 - Earlier this week (April 3), I joined Mayor John Tory, TTC Chair Josh Colle and a number of City Councillors at an event at Bloor-Yonge Station to invite the provincial government to help fund the planned Relief Line.

February 3, 2017 - Earlier this week (Jan. 30), TTC Chair Josh Colle joined City Councillor Mike Layton and Debbie Gillespie, Chair of the TTC’s Advisory Committee on Accessible Transit (ACAT) to mark the completion of elevator construction at Ossington Station, thereby making it the 35th accessible subway station on the TTC.
