TTC working to resolve bike rack concerns following Ministry of Labour order

On October 16, the Ontario Ministry of Labour ordered Toronto Transit Commission bike racks not be used on two of its bus types – the Nova Articulated and Orion VII buses – effective immediately due to concerns around sight lines when the bike racks are in use.

October 17, 2014 - Toronto Transit Commission service on many routes will be on diversion this Sunday, October 19, during the annual Scotiabank Waterfront Marathon

October 10, 2014 - On Sunday, October 12, the 509 Harbourfront and 510 Spadina streetcars return to Queens Quay after two years of replacement bus service during Waterfront Toronto's Queens Quay revitalization project.

October 9, 2014 - Starting Tuesday, October 14 at 6 a.m., the Toronto Transit Commission and City of Toronto will carry out major construction work at the intersections of Bathurst and Wolseley Streets and Bathurst and Dundas Street West.
- TTC to close portion of Line 2 at 10 p.m. to make permanent tunnel repairs
October 1, 2014 - The Toronto Transit Commission will close a portion of Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth) between Ossington and Keele stations this evening starting at 10 p.m.

September 30, 2014 - The Toronto Transit Commission advises that subway service has been restored between Ossington and Keele stations on Line 2.

September 30, 2014 - The Toronto Transit Commission’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer Chris Upfold will join Deputy Chief Operating Officer Mike Plamer at Dundas West Station at noon today to discuss the ongoing investigation into debris at track level at Dundas West Station.
- TTC subway service suspended on Line 2
September 30, 2014 - There is no subway service on Line 2 between Keele and Ossington stations due to debris on the tracks at Dundas West Station.
- TTC subway service open all night for Scotiabank Nuit Blanche
September 26, 2014 - The Toronto Transit Commission is extending service on its subway, bus and streetcar networks for Scotiabank Nuit Blanche, starting on Saturday, October 4 and ending on Sunday, October 5.
- Free Wi-Fi now available at TTC's College subway station
September 23, 2014 - The Toronto Transit Commission and BAI Canada have expanded free wireless internet service to College Station. Wi-Fi service is already available at Bloor-Yonge, St. George, Bay and Wellesley subway stations.
