511 Bathurst route - temporary short turning of 511C branch
February 2017 to May 6, 2017
As a temporary measure, TTC has replaced streetcars with a bus service on the 511 Bathurst route. This is due to a shortage of streetcars. Streetcars on the 511 Bathurst route are scheduled to return to service on Sunday, May 7.
511C Short-turn branch
A new temporary weekday branch of the 511 Bathurst route was recently introduced, operating between Bathurst Station and just south of King Street. This change is temporary (until May 6, 2017), and was made due to a shortage of buses and to ensure the best possible service to customers travelling this route.
- 511C Bathurst buses are looping back from the King Street area for the return trip to Bathurst Station via; south on Bathurst Street, east on Front Street, north on Portland Street, west on Wellington Street and north on Bathurst Street.
- 511C service is scheduled to operate every five to seven minutes with the last northbound bus leaving the King Street area at approximately 7:15 p.m.
Thank you for your patience as we work to provide the best possible service to Toronto during this shortfall of vehicles and maintenance requirements.
