Work Description

The bus loop has been closed to allow construction of a new elevator and loop-resurfacing at Coxwell Station. During excavation of the elevator shaft, high groundwater penetrated the shaft and delayed excavation for several months. As a result, the bus loop will now be restored in spring 2017.

TTC Service

The temporary diversions for the 22 Coxwell and the 70 O’Connor Buses will remain in place. All customers, including PRESTO card customers, must obtain a paper transfer from the operators (to show the collector) or from inside the station (to show the operators) as their proof-of-payment. Access to the subway station will remain uninterrupted.

Work Hours

The majority of the work will be completed between Monday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with some weekend work. The bus diversions as noted above will be in force at all times.
