Finch Station roof replacement
July 20, 2016 to February 28, 2017
The TTC will be replacing the roof at Finch Station starting on July 20, 2016. Removing and replacing the existing roof will ensure the bus transfer structure remains serviceable for decades to come. In order to keep the station open for our customers, construction work will be phased in several stages.
No impact to bus service routings, however, customers will board buses at different bays in the station. Station signage will be in place to guide customers to the correct boarding area. During each phase of construction, two bus bays will be closed so that the roofing work can take place.
Most work will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with some extensions outside of these hours in order to complete the work as quickly as possible.
Noise, Vibration and Odour
Noise and vibration associated with construction is expected. Efforts will be made to keep noise levels to a minimum. The contractor has been asked to take measures to minimize odour as much as possible.
