Starting February 18, the elevator at Kennedy Station between Line 3, concourse, buses and street will be out of service due to elevator maintenance until the end of July 2020. Line 3 will not be accessible from Kennedy Station to Scarborough Centre Station due to this closure.

Please note, the eastbound elevator at Scarborough Centre Station is also out of service for maintenance until March 16, 2020. The westbound elevator at Scarborough Centre Station will be closed from March 17, 2020, until the end of July 2020 for maintenance.

During this time, customers who require accessible service should use the following alternatives:

  • Wheel-Trans service: Wheel-Trans customers will be provided door-to-door Wheel-Trans trips during the duration of this work for all travel that would have included Line 3 as part of their journey. Family of Services trips for Line 2 at Kennedy Station will still be accommodated. Wheel-Trans customers who do not wish to book a Wheel-Trans trip and choose to travel independently on conventional services will need to use the 21 Brimley, 43B Kennedy or 903 Kennedy-Scarborough Centre Express (rush hour only) bus routes to travel between Kennedy and Scarborough Centre stations.
  • To get to Line 2: Customers can ask TTC station staff at Kennedy Station for assistance traveling from the bus bay to the street level to concourse elevator. Take this elevator to concourse level, proceed through the fare gates (fare payment or proof-of-payment will be required) to the elevator to Line 2.
  • To get to Scarborough Centre Station: Customers can take the 21 Brimley, 43B Kennedy or 903 Kennedy-Scarborough Centre Express (rush hour only) bus routes. From Line 2, take the elevator to concourse level, proceed out through the fare gates to the concourse to street elevator. Customers can ask TTC station staff at Kennedy Station for assistance traveling from the street level to concourse elevator to the bus bay. A temporary bus stop for the 43B Kennedy and 113 Danforth will be in place on Transway Crescent, located by the street level elevator.
