Queens Quay Station - Accessible Alternatives
Elevator out of service for maintenance - April 24 to late June, 2017
The elevator at Queens Quay Station between street level and the streetcar platform will be out of service for maintenance from April 24 to late June, 2017. The closure is due to replacement of the elevator piston, a vital component for the safe operation of the elevator. During the elevator closure, the following accessible alternative routes are available:
Streetcar Platform to Street
Board any streetcar towards Union Station. Use the accessible features of Union Station to access the street. Proceed to the southbound 6 Bay bus stop at the corner of Front Street West and Bay Street. Board the southbound 6 Bay bus and exit at Queens Quay West.
Street to Streetcars and Union Station
- To Westbound Streetcars
Proceed west on Queens Quay West to the next streetcar stop at Harbourfront Centre (400 metres).
- To Union Station (and Westbound Streetcars)
Proceed to the east side of Bay Street and board the northbound 6 Bay bus. Exit the bus at the stop at Front Street West / Union Station. Use the accessible features of Union Station to access the subway or streetcar to your destination.
