Accessible elevator construction
The Toronto Transit Commission has an ongoing program to improve subway station accessibility. The Interactive TTC Subway Map highlights the stations that are now equipped with accessible features such as elevators and barrier-free entrances. For more information on future accessible stations, visit Easier Access.
Regular maintenance of TTC elevators and escalators keeps them working reliably and safely. To complete this important work, specific units will need to be out of service from time to time.
