Wilson Station is the 51st TTC subway station to become accessible. The Easier Access project at Wilson Station commenced in late 2018 and involved the installation of three elevators to access the eastbound and westbound platforms, the concourse level and bus platforms. The elevators entered service on December 18, 2020 and are available for customer use.

Other station upgrades include automatic sliding entry doors, improved signage and accessible washrooms on the concourse level.

Minor project related work will continue at the station.

As part of the station upgrade work, LeuWebb Projects' Outside the Lines has been integrated into Wilson Station. Seven different painted steel structures can be found popping out of walls, shooting through floors and coiling around columns throughout the station.
