- TTC launches new Post-Secondary Student Pass
August 24, 2010 - The TTC has launched a new Post-Secondary Student Metropass, which is now on sale for $99 per month at all TTC Collector Booths or at participating retail stores.

August 23, 2010 - In February this year, Toronto Transit Commission staff sought approval from its board to establish an independent panel to review and make recommendations on improving customer service at the TTC.
- Canadian war veterans and peacekeepers ride for free on Warriors’ Day
August 18, 2010 - On Saturday, August 21 (the 89th Annual Warriors’ Day at the CNE) Canadian veterans of war and peacekeeping missions can ride the TTC free of charge.
- TTC subway musicians’ auditions kicks off on Friday
August 18, 2010 - The 32nd annual TTC Subway Musicians’ Auditions get under way tomorrow, Friday, August 20, with the official ribbon cutting by TTC Commissioner Suzan Hall and CNE President Jim Melvin, as well as a special appearance by TTC streetcar operator Elsa Alexander, the fifth TTC United Way Idol.

August 17, 2010 - The TTC will be running extra buses and streetcars on all routes heading to the Canadian National Exhibition.
- TTC Commission meeting change of time
August 16, 2010 - The start time of the TTC Commission meeting, to take place next Monday, August 23, has been changed. The Commission meeting will begin at 2 pm, not 1 pm, as originally scheduled.
- TTC adjusts subway service during weekend track work
August 11, 2010 - Due to subway track construction near St. George Station, the TTC will be re-routing trains on Saturday, August 14 and Sunday, August 15 on the Bloor-Danforth subway.
- TTC Taste of the Danforth stations: Broadview, Chester, Pape and Donlands
August 6, 2010 - With a number of road closures this weekend, the TTC is the better way to explore the 17th annual Taste of the Danforth.
