TTC streetcar service diverting due to wires down
March 20, 2013
Earlier this morning, a non-TTC vehicle inadvertently took down the overhead streetcar wires at Queen St. and Degrassi. Toronto Police have closed Queen Street between Degrassi and Saulter.
As a result, TTC streetcar service in the east end of the city has been impacted.
The 501 Queen, 502 Downtowner and the 503 Kingston Road streetcars are diverting via Parliament, Gerrard and Coxwell. The 504 King is diverting via Broadview, Dundas and Parliament.
The TTC is working to restore full service, and will provide updates throughout the delay.
