TTC to host vaccination clinics at Warden and Islington stations
September 2, 2021
The TTC is continuing to host vaccination clinics at its stations, with two more clinics scheduled for Sept. 7 to 9 at Warden and Islington. The clinics, which are being hosted in partnership with East Toronto Health Partners, are open to TTC customers, employees and members of the public.
The TTC has previously held daily vaccination clinics at Main Street and Victoria Park stations, from Aug. 24 to 26, and at Victoria Park Station from Aug. 31 to Sept. 2. Hundreds of vaccinations have been given at these clinics, many of which were first doses.
Both clinics will be located in the mezzanine area of the stations and will run from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day, while supplies last. People visiting the vaccine clinics who are not travelling on the TTC will not be required to pay a fare. First and second doses will be offered to everyone born in 2009 or earlier (turning 12 or older this year). No appointments will be required, and both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be available.
Customers are encouraged to visit ttc.ca for additional information and to stay informed on any future TTC-hosted vaccination clinics.
