Line 1: Sheppard-Yonge to Bloor-Yonge nightly early closures June 21 to 24
Subway service on Line 1 between Sheppard-Yonge and Bloor-Yonge stations will end at midnight nightly from Monday, June 21 to Thursday, June 24, 2021 for Automatic Train Control signal system testing. Shuttle buses will operate. Regular subway service will resume each following morning at approximately 6 a.m.
Summerhill station will be closed. All other stations will remain open for the purchase of PRESTO fares and connection to Line 4 and surface routes.
At York Mills Station, the Old York Mills Road entrance will be closed. Customers are advised to use the other station entrances located in the York Mills Centre, Yonge Corporate Centre, and at the corner of Yonge Street and Wilson Avenue.
At Lawrence Station, the automatic entrances at Ranleigh Avenue and Bedford Park Avenue will also be closed. Customers are advised to use the entrances at Yonge Street and Lawrence Avenue.
Nightly early closures are occurring concurrently with single-track operation on Line 1 between Vaughan Metropolitan Centre and Pioneer Village stations.
