Line 1: Sheppard-Yonge to St Clair late opening/full closure May 8 and 9
On Saturday, May 8 and Sunday, May 9, 2021, subway service on Line 1 between Sheppard-Yonge and St Clair stations will be adjusted as follows:
Saturday, May 8 from start of service (6 a.m.) until noon:
There will be no subway service between Sheppard-Yonge and St Clair stations for maintenance.
At York Mills Station, the Old York Mills Road entrance will be closed. Customers are advised to use the other station entrances located in the York Mills Centre, Yonge Corporate Centre, and at the corner of Yonge Street and Wilson Avenue.
At Lawrence Station, the automatic entrances at Ranleigh Avenue and Bedford Park Avenue will also be closed. Customers are advised to use the entrances at Yonge Street and Lawrence Avenue.
Saturday, May 8 from noon until end of service Sunday, May 9 (approximately 2 a.m. May 10):
The closure area will be reduced and there will be no subway service between Lawrence and St Clair stations to accommodate work on the Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit project. Service between Sheppard-Yonge and Lawrence stations will resume.
As Lawrence Station is not yet an accessible station, customers travelling southbound on Line 1 who require an accessible connection should exit the train at York Mills Station and see any TTC customer service employee for assistance.
Shuttle buses will operate during these closures.
