Subway Construction Begins on Interchange Way West of Jane Street

Construction crews have begun work on Interchange Way west of Jane Street in Vaughan on a portion of work associated with the subway tunnels.
Construction in this neighbourhood is expected to be complete in April 2014.
Lane Restrictions
There are curb lane restrictions in both directions on Interchange Way between Exchange Way and Jane Street.
Construction crews will begin utility relocations, excavation and installing excavation support systems on Interchange Way west of Jane Street. There will be construction related disturbances due to this activity. Increased construction noise will be experienced in this area for this stage of the work.
Work Hours
Work will normally run between 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Motorists please obey all signs and slow down through this construction zone.
Pedestrian Access/Walkways
Sidewalks will remain open on the north side of Interchange Way to maintain pedestrian access during this portion of construction. Please take extra care while travelling near construction.
