York University Station Box Drilling to Resume January 7, 2013

On Monday, January 7, 2013 caisson drilling resumes at the future York University Subway Station. This construction activity will occur in the lower excavated area (see construction zone marked on the map below) and requires the drilling of short piles by drilling rigs. This work is projected to continue for approximately five weeks.

Excavation of the York University Subway Station box is ongoing and is anticipated to be completed by spring 2013.

Work Hours
- Work hours will normally run from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. 7 days per week.
- During the work there will be construction related noise.

Pedestrian Access
The pedestrian walkway that opened March 14, 2012 between the York Research Tower and York Lanes will not be affected. Please follow the posted pedestrian signs.
