Roadway Restrictions on James Gillies Street, Saturday, October 18, 2014

On Saturday, October 18, 2014, there will be alternating lane closures on James Gillies Street at York University for grinding and asphalting work in the roadway. Please be advised that an asphalt smell will be detected during this work.
All paving work will take place on James Gillies Street south of York Boulevard to Fine Arts Road and will be completed on Saturday, October 18, 2014.
Work Hours
James Gillies Street will be reduced to one lane for both directions of traffic between 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2014. Grinding work is scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and paving work will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Traffic flag personnel will be stationed on James Gillies Street to direct traffic and ensure safe traffic and pedestrian flow.
