Early Morning Construction Work, York University Station, Begins April 12, 2016

Overnight construction work will begin at York University Station on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 until Friday, April 22, 2016. Work hours are from 12:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. daily. This work is required to enable construction of the firefighter access and to remove secant piles around the eastern end of the station box to support the completion of the York Blvd road works. Removal work will include the use of a hoe-ram or rock breaker. All work will take place in the Contractor Work Zone on the map below.

Work Hours

Construction work will take place each day from 12:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.  Removal work using the hoe-ram will only take place during these times from April 12 – 22, 2016.

Noise and Vibration

Noise and vibration is expected during the removal of the tower crane foundation. Construction equipment includes use of a hoe ram or rock breaker. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
