A meeting of the TTC Board was held in Committee Room 2, City Hall, 100 Queen Street West and by video conference on Friday, October 27 commencing at 1:31 p.m. The meeting recessed into Committee of the Whole at 1:32 p.m. and reconvened in public session at 4:16 p.m.

M. Atlas (General Counsel), S. Naraine (Chief People Officer), C. Finnerty (Director - Commission Services) and J. Ishak (Administrator - Secretariat Services) were present. M. Richards, DLA Piper (Canada) LLP was also present.

Land Acknowledgement
Chair Myers acknowledged that the TTC Board was meeting on the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. He also acknowledged that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit.

Chair Myers moved that the TTC Board recess into confidential session to consider advice or communications that are subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose related to Item 1 – Receipt of Advice from External Counsel.
The motion by Chair Myers carried.

Adopt the action taken in-camera, noting that the information is to remain confidential as it is subject to solicitor-client privilege
