TTC service to the Canadian National Exhibition
The Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) is one of Toronto’s biggest summer events, attracting more than 1.5 million visitors each year.
Transit is the fastest, safest, and most affordable way to and from the CNE, also known as the Ex. Whether you go for the food, the rides, the shows, or the competitions, the TTC can take you there!
Take the TTC to Exhibition Place
For the full duration of the CNE, the TTC will be running a dedicated CNE Express shuttle bus from Dufferin Station, plus extra service on the 29 Dufferin and 929 Dufferin Express buses and the 509 Harbourfront and 511 Bathurst streetcars.
- Option 1: Take Line 2 to Dufferin Station, then take a CNE Express shuttle, 29 Dufferin or a 929 Dufferin Express bus to Dufferin Gate Loop.
- Option 2: Take Line 1 to Union Station, then take a 509 Harbourfront streetcar to Exhibition Loop at Manitoba Drive.
- Option 3: Take Line 2 to Bathurst Station, then take a 511 Bathurst streetcar to Exhibition Loop.
Please note: The eastbound and westbound 509 Harbourfront and 511 Bathurst streetcar stops at Manitoba Drive and Strachan Avenue (Stop IDs #1062 and #1063) are out of service for the duration of the CNE.
Customers travelling westbound can exit the 509 and 511 streetcars at Fleet Street and Fort York Boulevard (Stop ID #14509) and head west to the Princes' Gate or stay on board to Exhibition Loop.
Customers travelling eastbound can board a 509 or 511 streetcar at Exhibition Loop or head east and board at Fleet Street and Fort York Boulevard (Stop ID #14508).
Temporary diversions during the CNE
- 29 Dufferin / 929 Dufferin Express: Buses will turn back north from the Dufferin Gate Loop.
- 329 Dufferin: Buses will divert around Liberty Village and serve Dufferin Gate Loop on both northbound and southbound trips from Princes’ Gate Loop.
- 504B King: Streetcars will divert west on King Street West, north on Dufferin Street, east on Queen Street West and south on Shaw Street to the route.
- 510 Spadina: Streetcars will turn back to Spadina Station from Spadina Avenue and Queens Quay Loop.

Labour Day service on Monday, September 7
The TTC will operate on a holiday schedule on Monday, September 7 for Labour Day, and the Customer Service Centre will be closed. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8.
Please note that the CNE admission gates close early at 5 p.m. on Monday, September 7.

Accessible Wheel-Trans service
On demand Wheel-Trans service will be available throughout the CNE (Friday, August 21 to Monday, September 7, 2026). Trips can be prebooked up to seven days in advance.
Visitors to Toronto with access to a specialized transit service in their home province, territory or country can access the TTC Wheel-Trans Service for up to 30 days without having to apply to Wheel-Trans. Learn more on the Visitors to Toronto page.

Safety on the TTC
Your safety is our top priority when travelling on the TTC. Customers who require support at any time on the system can:
- Speak with TTC staff or a Special Constable.
- Download the SafeTTC app for free from the Apple App or Google Play stores. The mobile app offers a quick and discreet method for reporting harassment, safety concerns or suspicious activity directly to the TTC’s Transit Control Centre.
- Call 911 in the event of an emergency.
