Jason Lane is a progressive singer-songwriter from the heart of Toronto, who presents emotionally driven vocals and strong rhythm guitar in all of his songs. He writes and performs original music, as well as a variety of covers; drawing inspiration from some key Canadian artists, such as: Raine Maida, Matthew Good, Gord Downie, and John K. Samson.
Jason’s musical styles include alternative, folk, indie, pop, and rock, with a variety of combinations in-between. He attended North Toronto Collegiate Institute, where he studied viola throughout his enrollment, and then went on to attend the University of Toronto for studies in the humanities. Jason has been a part of the Subway Musician Program since October 2015.
