TTC Service in Case of Labour Disruption at GO Transit

In the event of a labour disruption at GO Transit Monday morning, the TTC advises people to give themselves extra time if they plan on using the TTC as an alternative.

The TTC's peak period service is currently at capacity, with very few buses or subway trains available to increase service. If possible, leave earlier or later than usual when traveling during the morning and afternoon rush hour periods. TTC vehicles will be less crowded.

TTC parking lots are at capacity, and many lots require a Metropass to enter. Showing up at TTC lots will not only prove fruitless for GO riders, but will also cause significant problems at already strained lots.

The TTC suggests people who normally use GO Transit should have someone drop them off at a subway station. Long delays can also be expected at subway station Passenger Pick-Up and Drop-Off locations.

For information updates, please check the TTC website at www.ttc.ca, or call (416) 393-INFO. Customer Information representatives will be working extended hours on Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Monday morning beginning at 6 a.m.
