Early shutdown of portion of Spadina line for TTC track work

In order to undertake scheduled subway track maintenance, the TTC will be closing a section of the Yonge-University-Spadina subway early each night between October 31 and November 27.

From October 31 to November 13, subway service between Lawrence West Station and Downsview Station will end each night at 11:59 p.m.

From November 14 to November 27, subway service between St. Clair West Station and Downsview Station will end each night at 11:59 p.m.

A shuttle bus service will operate during the early closure period. An accessible shuttle bus will operate between Eglinton West Station and Downsview Station.

501 Queen

Starting at 7 a.m. on October 30 until 5 a.m. on November 1, track work will take place on Queen Street East at Ontario Street.  The nature of the work to be conducted will require the diversion of the 501 Queen streetcar and the implementation of shuttle buses on Queen Street East.  

Eastbound streetcars will divert using Church Street, King Street and Queen Street, back to route.

Westbound streetcars will divert using King Street, Church Street, Richmond Street and Queen Street, to route.  Shuttle buses will operate between Broadview Avenue and University Avenue.
