TTC August Metropass features St. Clair West mural
The TTC’s August Metropass, on sale now until Aug. 5, showcases a mural created by artists Marcelo Pinero, Aelwynn Swanson and Pia Ferrari, called The Railway Heritage Mural.
The Railway Heritage Mural, located on St. Clair West at Caledonia Rd., pays homage to the early days of Canada and the people and railways that led to its creation. The painted locomotive is based on one that passed through the area where the mural is painted. The background features historical Toronto buildings like Casa Loma, Union Station and the Princes’ Gates.
All TTC Metropasses this year include images of distinctly different Toronto murals from GTA neighbourhoods.
Metropasses are available for purchase at collector booths and participating TTC fare agents are $146.25 for adults and $116.75 for seniors (65+), students (13-19) and post-secondary students with valid ID.
Adult and senior TTC Monthly Passes, as well as adult 12 Month Passes on PRESTO, are also available for purchase at prestocard.ca. These passes cost the same and provide the same unlimited travel as Metropasses. For more information about TTC Monthly Passes on PRESTO, please visit www.ttc.ca/presto.
