Portion of TTC Line 1 to close early this Mon.-Thurs.

The portion of Line 1 between Spadina and St Andrew stations will close at 11 p.m. next Mon., Jan. 27 through Thurs., Jan. 30 for track work.

Replacement shuttle buses will run, stopping at each station along the route. TTC staff will be on hand to direct customers to shuttle loading and offloading locations, which will vary from station to station.

All stations will remain open for access to fare sales, surface routes and Line 2.

Wheel-Trans will be available upon request from any station throughout the closure. As the Line 1 portion of Spadina Station is not yet accessible, customers who require an accessible connection should use St Clair West Station instead. Customers can speak with a TTC staff member for more information about service frequency.

While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the conclusion of service each night, it continues to require weekend and early weeknight closures to complete critical infrastructure and ATC upgrades.
