TTC ACAT committee recruiting new members


The TTC and its Advisory Committee on Accessible Transit (ACAT) are putting out a final call for new volunteer members for the 2023 committee. Applications have been open since May 2022, and will be accepted for two more weeks - until Mon., Sept. 12, 2022 at 4 p.m.

 

ACAT provides a mechanism for ongoing public participation in decisions affecting accessible transportation in the City of Toronto. The Committee is comprised of volunteer members and reports to the Board of the Toronto Transit Commission. Those who are passionate about transit and, want to help guide the TTC through its transition to a more accessible system, are encouraged to apply.

 

Anyone interested in joining the committee can visit ttc.ca/acat to apply. Applications can also be submitted by email to acat@ttc.ca, by mail to ACAT applications c/o Wheel-Trans Customer Service, 580 Commissioners St., Toronto, ON, M4M 1A7, or by fax to 416-338-0126. Prospective members who require an accommodation with their application can email acat@ttc.ca for more information.
