Upcoming TTC Subway Closure

Tomorrow, Sat., Dec. 10 only, there will be no subway service on the portion of Line 1 between Osgoode and King stations due to track work.

Replacement shuttle buses will run, stopping at each station along the route. TTC staff will be on hand to direct customers to shuttle boarding and offloading locations.

All stations will remain open for people to load their PRESTO card or purchase PRESTO Tickets and connect to surface routes.

As King Station is not yet accessible, customers travelling southbound on the Yonge side of Line 1 who require an accessible connection should exit the train at Queen Station and see any TTC customer service employee for assistance.

While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the conclusion of service each night, it continues to require weekend and early weeknight closures to complete critical infrastructure and state-of-good-repair work.

504A King route update

As of today, Fri., Dec. 9, 504A King streetcar service has returned to regular routing, operating between Distillery Loop and Dufferin Gate Loop.

The 504A King was previously operating between Exhibition Loop and the Distillery Loop to accommodate track work, which has now been completed.

504B King streetcars are also now operating between Broadview Station and Wolseley Loop via Bathurst St., and 504C King replacement buses are operating between Bathurst St. and Dundas West Station.
