Starting at 11 p.m. Fri., July 14, until 6 a.m. Mon., July 17, there will be no subway service on the portion of Line 1 between Sheppard-Yonge and St. Clair stations, due to track work.

Shuttle buses will run, stopping at each station along the route. TTC staff will be on hand to direct customers to shuttle boarding and offloading locations.

Lawrence Station will be closed. All other stations will remain open for customers to load their PRESTO card or purchase PRESTO Tickets and connect to surface routes.

Customers who require Wheel-Trans service can speak to any TTC customer service staff member for assistance.

Weekend travel information

The Honda Indy returns to Toronto this weekend. In anticipation of the number of fans expected, the TTC is adding service for the fastest, most convenient and eco-friendly way to get there.

The TTC will run extra streetcars on the 509 Harbourfront and 511 Bathurst, from Friday until Sunday night, to make it even easier for people to take transit. Customers can also take the 29 Dufferin to and from the event.

Also this weekend, the 300 Bloor-Danforth will be diverting from 8 a.m. on Sat., July 15, until 3 a.m. on Mon., July 17, to accommodate BIG on Bloor.

And, on Sat., July 15, customers may experience delays on the 72 Pape, 121 Esplanade-River, 202 Cherry Beach, 501 Queen, 504 King, and 505 Dundas, due to the Festival of India Parade.

Monday – Thursday

Mon., July 17, through to Thurs., July 20, subway service on the portion of Line 1 between St Clair and York Mills stations will end at 11 p.m. nightly for track work.

Shuttle buses will run, stopping at each station along the route. TTC staff will be on hand to direct customers to shuttle boarding and offloading locations.

Lawrence Station will close nightly at 11 p.m. Mon., July 17, through Wed., July 19 only. All other stations will remain open for customers to load their PRESTO card or purchase PRESTO Tickets and connect to surface routes.

While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the conclusion of service each night, it continues to require weekend and early weeknight closures to complete critical infrastructure and state-of-good-repair work.

The TTC is committed to keeping customers informed about work and events that impact service and about alternate routes. For the most up-to-date information, follow @TTCNotices on Twitter or sign up for eAlerts.
