Take the TTC to weekend celebrations and events

Pride 2023

The TTC is proud to be participating in Pride celebrations this weekend, and will be adding service on both Line 1 and 2 to ensure everyone can get to and from Sunday’s Pride Parade as efficiently as possible. A specially wrapped TTC e-bus will also be in the Trans March, Dyke March, and this Sunday’s Pride Parade.

Customers planning to attend the Trans March or Dyke March are encouraged to take the TTC. The quickest way to get there is via the subway, and the closest stops are at Bloor-Yonge Station, and on Line 1 at Wellesley and College stations. The Trans March and Dyke March both begin at the intersection of Charles St. and Church St., and continue south onto Yonge St., ending at the Garden Stage at Church St. and Dundas St. E.

For those attending the Pride Parade on Sunday, the closest stops are located at Bloor-Yonge, Wellesley, College, Dundas and Queen stations. The parade route begins at the intersection of Bloor St. and Church St., and continues south along Yonge St. ending at Nathan Phillips Square.

The TTC’s Bloor-Yonge Capacity Improvements Project community office at 25 Hayden St will also be open between 12-6 p.m. during the Pride Parade on Sunday. Customers and parade attendees are invited to stop by, refill their water bottles, and chat with TTC staff about the $1.5 billion expansion and rehabilitation of Bloor-Yonge Subway Station.
