Upcoming TTC subway closures and weekend diversions

This Sat., June 3, and Sun., June 4, there will be no subway service on the portion of Line 2 between Victoria Park and Kennedy stations due to ATC signal upgrades.

Shuttle buses will run, stopping at each station along the route. TTC staff will be on hand to direct customers to shuttle boarding and offloading locations.

All stations will remain open for customers to load their PRESTO card, purchase PRESTO Tickets and connect to surface routes.

Customers who require Wheel-Trans service can speak to any TTC customer service staff member for assistance.

Weekend diversions

Beginning at 5 a.m., Sat. June 3, through to 4 a.m. Mon. June 5, 511 Bathurst streetcars will operate from Bathurst Station to Queen St. W., due to streetcar track repair. 511 Bathurst replacement buses will operate between Queen St. W. and Exhibition Loop.

Also on Sat., June 3, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., the 75 Sherbourne will divert northbound between Front and King streets, due to a lane closure.

And, on Sun., June 4, the 29C/329 Dufferin will be diverting from 2 a.m. to 4 p.m. to accommodate the Bike for Brain Health. Customers may also experience delays on the 91 Woodbine and 95 York Mills during this time.

Tuesday to Friday

Tues., June 6, through Fri., June 9, subway service on the portion of Line 2 between Broadview and Woodbine stations will end at 11 p.m. nightly for track work.

Replacement shuttle buses will run frequently, stopping at each station along the route. TTC staff will be on hand to direct customers to shuttle boarding and offloading locations.

Chester Station will be closed.  All other stations will remain open for customers to load their PRESTO card or purchase PRESTO Tickets and connect to surface routes.

At Pape Station, the automatic entrance/exit at Lipton Ave. will be closed. Other entrances and exits will be available for customers at the station.

While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the conclusion of service each night, it continues to require weekend and early weeknight closures to complete critical infrastructure and state-of-good-repair work as well as ATC signal upgrades.

The TTC is committed to keeping customers informed about work and events that affect service and about alternate routes. For the most up-to-date information, follow @TTCNotices on Twitter or sign up for e-Alerts.
