Take the TTC this Canada Day long weekend

With no scheduled subway closures and extra service planned across the weekend for Pride and Canada Day, the TTC is the fastest, safest, and greenest way to explore the city.

Canada Day holiday service

On Mon., Jul. 1, the TTC will be running a holiday service for Canada Day. All TTC routes will operate a Sunday service schedule but will start earlier, at approximately 6 a.m. Any routes that do not normally operate on Sundays, will not operate on Canada Day. Customers are encouraged to visit https://www.ttc.ca/routes-and-schedules/Service-details-and-holidays for more information.

Ashbridges Bay Park

Beginning at noon on Mon., Jul. 1, the TTC will be increasing subway service on Line 2 Bloor-Danforth, and extra buses will be running on the 22 Coxwell and 92 Woodbine South to accommodate those travelling to Ashbridges Bay Park for the Canada Day fireworks display.

The 22 Coxwell will be extended south on Coxwell Avenue and east on Lake Shore Blvd. to connect with Woodbine Beach. Additional TTC personnel will be available to help direct customers to the appropriate boarding locations.

The TTC anticipates that many customers will be attending the festivities. Customers are reminded that some streets may be closed and TTC routes may be required to divert.

For other detailed planned diversions on Canada Day, customers are encouraged to check the Service Advisories page on www.ttc.ca.

The TTC is committed to keeping customers informed about work and events that impact service, as well as alternate route options. For the most up-to-date information, follow @TTCNotices on X or sign up for eAlerts.
