Upcoming scheduled subway closures and service adjustments
This Sat., Apr. 12 and Sun., Apr. 13, there will be no subway service on the portion of Line 2 Bloor-Danforth between Jane and Ossington stations to accommodate planned track work.
A frequent shuttle bus service will run, stopping at each station along the shuttle route. Customers who require Wheel-Trans service can speak with any TTC customer service staff member for assistance.
Runnymede, High Park, Lansdowne and Dufferin stations will be closed. All other subway stations will remain open for customers to purchase PRESTO fares, tickets and connect to surface routes.
Monday to Friday – Early nightly subway closures between Jane and Ossington stations
From Mon., Apr. 14 to Thurs., Apr. 17, subway service on the portion of Line 2 Bloor-Danforth between Jane and Ossington stations will end nightly at 11 p.m. to accommodate planned track work.
A frequent shuttle bus service will run, stopping at each station along the route. Customers who require Wheel-Trans service can speak with any TTC customer service staff member for assistance.
Runnymede, High Park, Lansdowne and Dufferin stations will be closed. All other subway stations will remain open for customers to purchase PRESTO fares, tickets and connect to surface routes.
While the TTC does most subway maintenance after service each night, it continues to require weekend and early weeknight closures to complete critical infrastructure and state-of-good-repair work.
Streetcar service adjustments
- From 4 p.m. on Fri., Apr. 11 until 4 a.m. on Mon., Apr. 14, 504/304 King and 511 Bathurst service will divert to accommodate TTC infrastructure work along Bathurst St. between Richmond and King St. 504/304 King streetcars will run along Queen St. between Shaw St. and Spadina Ave. Replacement buses will run along King St., between John St. and Sudbury St. 511 Bathurst streetcars will run along Bathurst St. to Queen St. and Spadina Ave. Replacement buses will continue to operate from Bathurst St. and Queen St. to Exhibition Loop.
- From 11 p.m. on Mon., Apr. 14 until 4 a.m. on Tues., Apr. 15, 501/301 Queen, 503/303 Kingston Road and 504B/304 King streetcars will redirect onto Dundas St. between Parliament St. and Broadview Ave. to accommodate City of Toronto work at Queen St. and Davies Ave. 501/301 Queen replacement buses will run on Queen St. between Jarvis St. and Broadview Ave. 503/303 Kingston Road and 504/304 King replacement buses will run from King St. and Sherbourne St. to Broadview Station.
Construction
- From 8 p.m. on Fri., Apr. 11 until 11 p.m., on Sun., Apr. 13 the 40 Junction-Dundas West and 50 Burnhamthorpe routes will divert to accommodate a crane lift on Cordova Ave. The 40 Junction-Dundas West will divert onto Dundas St. between Central Park Rdwy. and Mabelle Ave. The 50 Burnhamthorpe will divert eastbound via Burnhamthorpe Rd., Dundas St. and Islington Ave., while westbound buses will run along Cordova Ave., Mabelle Ave., Dundas St. and Burnhamthorpe Rd.
- From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sat., Apr. 12 the 94 Wellesley route will run along Bloor St. between Spadina Ave. and Queens Pk. due to a crane lift on Harbord St.
