Jane Station construction


Update: December 4, 2024

Construction at Jane Station has been completed ahead of schedule and the bus terminal will partially re-open as early as December 9, 2024.

The following service changes remain in effect until February 16, 2025:

35/335 Jane and 935 Jane Express buses will resume dropping off customers in the bus terminal

  • Customers will be picked up on the east side of Jane Street north of Bloor Street West, outside Jane Station.

26 Dupont and 55 Warren Park continue to detour to Runnymede Station

  • Buses will drop off customers in the bus terminal.
  • Buses will pick up customers on the east side of Jane Street north of Bloor Street West, outside Jane Station.

Wheel-Trans service at Jane Station remains available outside of the Armadale Avenue entrance. There is no change to Wheel-Trans service at Runnymede Station.

71 Runnymede

  • Buses continue to drop off customers in the Runnymede Station bus terminal.
  • Buses continue to pick up customers outside the station at Runnymede Road and Bloor Street West.

77 Swansea

  • Buses continue to drop off customers outside the station at Runnymede Road and Bloor Street West.
  • Buses continue to pick up customers in the Runnymede Station bus terminal.

TRAVEL TIP: When transferring from an on-street bus to the station you must tap the PRESTO reader at the fare gate using the same PRESTO, debit or credit card you tapped on the bus. This will register your free transfer within the two-hour period. If paying by cash, TTC ticket or token, you must show the collector your paper transfer.

  • Jane Station bus terminal closure – July 15, 2024

    Starting Monday, July 15 until early 2025, the bus terminal at Jane Station will be fully closed for pavement repair work. All station entrances and subway service will be maintained during construction.

    Service at Jane and Runnymede stations will be adjusted in the following ways:

    35/335 Jane and 935 Jane Express buses will board on the street near Jane Station

    • Customers will be dropped off at a new temporary stop at the northwest corner of Jane Street and Bloor Street West.
    • Customers will continue to be picked up on the east side of Jane Street, outside the Jane Station bus terminal.

    26 Dupont and 55 Warren Park buses will board on the street near Jane Station

    • Customers will be dropped off at Jane and Folkes streets (two blocks north of Jane Station), approximately a two-minute walk south along Jane Street to the station.
      • Buses will also extend to Runnymede Station via Bloor Street West, picking up and dropping off customers at Bay 2 within the station to connect to Line 2. Runnymede Station is fully accessible.
    • Customers will be picked up on the east side of Jane Street, outside the Jane Station bus terminal.

    Wheel-Trans service at Jane Station continues to be available outside of the Armadale Avenue entrance. There is no change to Wheel-Trans service at Runnymede Station.

  • Service changes effective June 23, 2024

    Jane Station’s bus terminal will be closing for pavement repair work this summer. In preparation for construction, the following service changes at Jane and Runnymede stations take effect on Sunday, June 23, 2024:

    35/335 Jane and 935 Jane Express buses will board on the street near Jane Station

    • Customers will be picked up on the east side of Jane Street, outside the Jane Station bus terminal.

    26 Dupont and 55 Warren Park buses will board on the street near Jane Station 

    • Customers will be picked up on the east side of Jane Street, outside the Jane Station bus terminal.
    • Buses will be extended to Runnymede Station via Bloor Street West, picking up and dropping off customers at Bay 2 within the station, which is fully accessible.

    Wheel-Trans service at Jane Station will be available outside of the Armadale Avenue entrance. There is no change to Wheel-Trans service at Runnymede Station.
