Nuit Blanche service adjustments


Starting, Saturday, October 5, 2024

The annual Nuit Blanche all-night art festival is back! Multiple road closures in the downtown core will be in effect from 12 p.m. October 5 to 12 p.m., October 6, 2024. Several TTC routes will also be diverting starting at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, until 8 a.m. on Sunday, October 6, 2024.

Important note: On Sunday, October 6, 2024, at approximately 3 a.m., the TTC will be adjusting service on many routes, as part of its monthly service adjustments. Please check your route’s schedule before you head out for the night to see if your route may be impacted. Please note that schedules will be updated in the early hours of Sunday, October 6, 2024.

Here is what you need to know:

  • Subway service on Lines 1 and 2 will operate all night. Trains will arrive approximately every 15 minutes.
  • All subway stations will remain open with the exception of Line 4 – Sheppard. These stations will close at approximately 2:00 a.m.
  • 903 Kennedy Station-Scarborough Express buses will operate all night with 12 extra buses operating along the route.
  • Two extra buses will be added on the Flemingdon Park route to provide overnight bus service to the Agha Khan Museum Nuit Blanche art installations.
  • 944 Kipling South Express buses will operate all night from Kipling Station to Humber College Lake Shore Campus.
  • Extra streetcars will be in service on 501/301 Queen, 503/303 Kingston Road, 504/304 King and 511 Bathurst. 511 Bathurst streetcar service will operate all night.

The following routes will divert for Nuit Blanche activities:

  • 65/365 Parliament

    65/365 Parliament buses will divert eastbound only via east Queens Quay East, north Jarvis Street, east Lake Shore Boulevard East, south Small Street, east to north Parliament Street, to regular route.

  • 114 Queens Quay East

    114 Queens Quay East buses will divert eastbound only from Queens Quay East, north Yonge Street, east Lake Shore Boulevard East, south Cherry Street to regular route.

  • 509 Harbourfront

    At Union Station, 509 Harbourfront replacement buses can be accessed at the south west corner of Front and Bay streets.

    From 1 a.m. to 2 a.m., 509 Harbourfront replacement buses will divert eastbound only via Exhibition Loop, east on Fleet Street, north to east Fort York Boulevard, east Lake Shore Boulevard West, south Spadina Avenue, east Queens Quay West to regular route.

    From 2 a.m. to 5 a.m., 509 Harbourfront replacement buses will divert eastbound only via Exhibition Loop, east on Fleet Street, north to east on Fort York Boulevard, east Lake Shore Boulevard West, south Rees Street, east Queens Quay West in mixed traffic, north Simcoe Street, east Harbour Street, north Bay Street to regular route.

  • 510 Spadina

    From 1 a.m. to 2 a.m., 510 Spadina replacement buses will divert:

    Northbound:
    from Bay Street, east Front Street West, north Yonge Street, west Wellington Street West, south Bay Street, west Queens Quay West, north Spadina Avenue to route. 

    Southbound: from Spadina Avenue, east Queens Quay, north Bay Street to Front Street West.

    From 2 a.m. to 5 a.m., 310 Spadina replacement buses will divert:

    Northbound: from Bay Street, east Front Street West, north Yonge Street, west Wellington Street West, south Bay Street, west Queens Quay West, north Spadina Avenue to regular route. 

    Southbound: from Spadina Avenue, east on Lakeshore Boulevard West, south on Rees Street, east on Queens Quay, north on Simcoe Street, east on Harbour Street north Bay Street to Front Street West.
