Real-time bus arrivals and occupancy info now available on ttc.ca!

You can now get the real-time arrivals for the next three buses at your stop as well as the volume of passengers on those buses, directly from our website. In April 2021, we launched the real-time bus occupancy data on transit trip planning mobile apps that helped you choose which vehicle your were most comfortable boarding. Now, you can get the same information directly on our website.

Here are the five easy steps to get this info right now:

1. Go to ttc.ca

 

2. From the top navigation, click “Routes & Schedules”

3. Select “Bus Routes”

4. Click or search for the bus route of your choice

5. Select the stop you want real-time bus arrival and occupancy info for

Once you’re on the stop information page, you’ll see up to three bus icons with times next to them as well as the indication for how busy that bus will be.

The bus occupancy data will look like the following:

Not busy: One icon, 0-30% of capacity (up to 15 people on a standard bus, 23 on an articulated bus)

Busy: Two icons, 30-80% of capacity (15 to 40 customers on a standard bus, 23-54 on an articulated bus)

Very busy: Three icons, greater than 80% of capacity (more than 40 customers on a standard bus, more than 54 on an articulated bus)
