34eglinton east–Seasonal service increase and reduction

Service on the 34 Eglinton East route will be improved in most time periods Monday to Friday and weekends due to increased travel on the Eglinton Avenue East corridor. Service will also be adjusted in the morning peak period Monday to Friday to reallocate resources across the system.

As a result, bus service will operate as follows:

• Monday to Friday, between
  • 6 a.m. and 9 a.m., buses will arrive every 6 minutes instead of every 5 minutes
  • 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., buses will arrive every 7-8 minutes instead of every 6-7 minutes
  • 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., buses will arrive every 5-6 minutes instead of every 5 minutes
  • 10 p.m. and 1 a.m., buses will arrive every 10 minutes instead of every 6-7 minutes
• Saturday, between
  • 8 a.m. and 7 p.m., buses will arrive every 6-7 minutes instead of every 6 minutes
  • 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., buses will arrive every 8 minutes instead of every 6-7 minutes
• Sunday, between
  • 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., service will operate every 7 minutes instead of every 6-7 minutes
