Service on 54 Lawrence East will be modified to improve network connectivity and access to key trip generators on Kingston Road, Morningside Avenue and Lawrence Ave East. With this change, service on the 54B (Eglinton Stn-Orton Park) branch will be extended to Kingston Road and Morningside Avenue, bringing 10 minute network service to this intersection.
Service on Scarborough Golf Club Road, Brimorton Road, and Orton Park Drive will be removed and replaced with new route 154 Curran Hall.
Further, service will be improved on Saturdays in the early evening period, and on Sundays in the afternoon period to address crowding.
Service will operate as follows:
Saturday, between
6 a.m. and 8 a.m., buses will operate every 10 minutes instead of every 10-11 minutes
8 a.m. to 12 p.m., buses will operate every 10 minutes instead of every 9-10 minutes
7 p.m. and 10 p.m., buses will operate every 10 minutes instead of every 10-11 minutes
Sunday, between
12 p.m. and 7 p.m., buses will operate every 8 minutes instead of every 8-9 minutes
7 p.m. to 1 a.m., buses will operate every 10 minutes instead of every 10-11 minutes
