85sheppard east–Service Increase

The branch structure on 85 Sheppard East will be simplified to improve customer wayfinding:

85A will continue to operate between Don Mills Station and Rouge Hill GO Station. Additional service will be added in off-peak periods to increase the number of connections to Lakeshore East GO trains.

85B will be adjusted to terminate at Meadowvale Loop to match the branch designation with 985B (Don Mills Stn-Meadowvale Loop Express).

85C will be adjusted to terminate at Toronto Zoo. All through trips between Don Mills Station and Rouge Hill GO Station via Toronto Zoo will be removed.

As a result, bus service will operate as follows:

85A (Don Mills Stn-Rouge Hill GO Stn)

• Monday to Friday, between
  • 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., buses will arrive every 15 minutes instead of every 27 minutes
  • 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., buses will arrive every 16 minutes instead of every 18 minutes
  • 6:30 p.m. and 10 p.m., buses will arrive every 15 minutes instead of every 18 minutes
• Saturday, between
  • 5 a.m. to 8 a.m., buses will arrive every 16 minutes instead of every 32 minutes
  • 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., buses will arrive 16 minutes instead of every 24 minutes
  • 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., buses will arrive every 12 minutes instead of every 24 minutes
• Sunday/holiday, between
  • 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., buses will arrive every 16 minutes instead of every 30 minutes
  • 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., buses will arrive every 12 minutes instead of every 24 minutes

85B (Don Mills Stn-Meadowvale Loop)

• Monday to Friday, between
  • 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., buses will arrive every 15 minutes instead of every 9 minutes
  • 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., buses will arrive every 18 minutes instead of every 16 minutes
  • 6:30 p.m. and 10 p.m., buses will arrive every 15 minutes instead of every 18 minutes

85C (Don Mills Stn-Toronto Zoo via Meadowvale Rd)

• Saturday, between
  • 5 a.m. to 8 a.m., buses will arrive every 16 minutes instead of every 8 minutes
  • 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., buses will arrive every 16 minutes instead of every 8 minutes
  • 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., buses will arrive every 6 minutes instead of every 12 minutes
• Sunday/holiday, between
  • 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., buses will arrive every 16 minutes instead of every 10 minutes
