What we are doing and why?
TTC is upgrading the Streetcar Overhead Operations building at 391 Alliance Avenue. The building requires mechanical and electrical upgrades and enhanced staff facilities. All work will be within TTC property.
What to expect
All work will be done inside the building. There will be a temporary equipment laydown area outside, within TTC’s property footprint.
Hours of work will be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some weekend and overnight work may be required.
Noise and vibration associated with construction can be expected with this work.
There will be no impacts to pedestrians, cyclists, or traffic. There may be intermittent construction vehicle staging on Alliance Avenue.
