After several months, Main Street Station was re-opened on September 3, 2023 following work to rehabilitate the bus and streetcar platforms and bus loop.
To fully complete the project, there are several outstanding tasks that must be conducted. These tasks are currently expected to be complete by summer 2024.
What to expect during construction
The remaining work includes:
Fence removal and new post installation along the east side of the station
Saw cutting bus loop concrete pavement
Sealing of cracks and joints
Efforts will be made to keep noise, dust and debris to a minimum.
Work hours
These activities are currently scheduled to take place during overnight shifts.
TTC service
No impact to TTC service at Main Street Station.
